Vale Neville Roberts

It is with much sadness that the Club advises of the passing of Neville “Nifty” Roberts.
Neville passed away at the Freemasons hospital yesterday evening after a long battle with cancer and having suffered a stroke earlier this week.

The Upwey Tecoma Football Netball Club would like to extend its sympathies to Barb and Neville’s children, brothers and extended family and to all at the Upper Ferntree Gully Football Club.

Neville was an outstanding sportsman who loved life, he fought his battle with cancer like few else could do and he could play football like no one else we have ever seen.

Rest in peace our Champion friend Nifty Nev.
